Summary :

The SSEDAS research analyzes global interdependences from many different points of view, highlighting how extreme poverty and bad environmental management may be due to a wrong or bad implementation of European policies, and how they might be influenced by direct or indirect European citizens’ behaviors. Once again, it is possible to point out to European citizens a positive model, such as SSE, that is applicable both to the Global South and Europe and that allows citizens to undertake actions to change their behaviors contributing to reach poverty eradication and sustainable development. A special emphasis will be placed upon the necessity to enhance citizens understanding on global common goods and common challenges.
