Rethinking economics
Rethinking Economics was formed in the wake of the Global Financial Crisis, a crisis which showcased the centrality of economics to our societies while also exposing the many failures of conventional economic thinking.
We are an international network of students, academics and professionals who campaign for curriculum reform in Economics. Our vision is of a discipline that is pluralist, applied, critical and diverse.
Through a mixture of research, events and engaging projects, Rethinking Economics connects people globally to discuss and enact the change needed for the future of economics, and to propel the vital debate on what economics is today.
